Terry Goldberg and Bradley Gage have over 40 years of experience between them.

Bradley C. Gage has been a partner at The Law offices of Goldberg & Gage for approximately 12 ½ years.  Gage has practiced law since 1985 and has worked in prestigious law firms in the past, including, Gage, Mazursky, Schwartz, Angelo & Kussman (1985-1987) and Tuverson & Hillyard (1987-1989) Sanford Gage of Gage, Mazursky, Schwartz, Angelo & Kussman, who had the largest verdict of all time in the State of Nevada ($49.5 million). While at Tuverson & Hillyard, Gage had the largest plaintiff’s settlement ever in that law firm for any attorney.  ($1.6 million on a structured settlement which he handled with Terry Goldberg.)

Gage started his own law firm in 1989 and then merged with the Law Offices of Terry Goldberg in June, 1991, where he has been a co-equity partner since June, 1991.

Gage has tried many matters in State and Federal Court including several employment matters.  He has participated in trials and settlements of over 14 cases that were resolved in excess of $1,000,000.00.   Gage estimates that he has handled between 60 and 100 different arbitrations and administrative hearings, many of them involving employment matters, and many involving public entities. Gage has also tried approximately 20 - 30 State and Federal cases in his career.    

Brad Gage has been published numerous times in peer-reviewed magazines. His most recent seminar was on December 9, 2003, on “Qualified Immunities in California.”  There were sections covered in the full day seminar where Gage was the speaker and author of materials, on various aspects of employment law.   Before that, he was a mediator in the Consumer Attorneys of California Seminar, in Maui, in December 2003.  

Gage was also published October 2001 and August 2002, and other times on employment law issues.  He has lectured to attorneys for the American Trial Lawyers’ Association; California Trial Lawyers Association; The Los Angeles County Bar Association and many other organizations.   Many of the seminars he lectured in were for employment and trial matters. 

Gage spoke on approximately August 21, 2002 for the Beverly Hills Bar Association Employment Section on voir dire, opening statement and closing argument.    He has spoken at seminars to attorneys on employment and Municipal entity matters an estimated 10 - 15 times in my career.  

Since becoming an attorney in 1985 Gage has been retained as trial counsel for various insurance companies.  Gage has represented many prominent individuals including a retired judge (with Terry Goldberg) politicians, a City Manager (along with attorney C. Stephen Love) and approximately seven police chiefs, including their family members, primarily in matters of employment.

Gage is admitted to practice in all of the Courts of the State of California, the Southern District and Central District of California and the Ninth Circuit.   

 

Terry M. Goldberg  has been a partner at Goldberg & Gage for over twelve years.  He has been an attorney since 1973 and has worked in the prestigious law firm of Gage & Cooper (later known as Gage, Mazursky, Schwartz, Angelo & Kussman)  from 1973 thru 1975 before embarking upon my firm.  Goldberg has practiced law in this community as a principal in the firm which has had different partners or associates from 1975 until June of 1991 when his present firm of Goldberg & Gage was formed.

Goldberg represented retired Judges, and their families in a variety of tort matters.  He has represented the so called “Angel of Death” in complex murder cases that involved wrongful death civil litigation. 

Goldberg has also taught trial advocacy at Pepperdine Law School, University of San Fernando College of Law, and has written numerous articles that have been published.

Terry Goldberg has served as Arbitrator, Mediator, Referee, Judge Pro Tem and Settlement Officer for the Los Angeles Superior and Municipal Courts.  He defended police officers charged with sexual harassment and has represented plaintiff police officers in sexual harassment cases. 

Goldberg has represented the San Bernardino Safety Employees Association where legal prowess was performed for Sheriffs in connection with employment matters, the Los Angeles Police Protective league in connection with employment matters and many peace officers in hotly contested and litigated employment cases. 

Goldberg has represented radio dignitaries, newscasters, retired judges, and have appeared in various media  pertaining  to legal issues or cases he was involved with that had some local or national interest.  He has also appeared on Good Morning America, Extra, and Inside Edition Univision on legal cases of significance.

Goldberg has tried many matters in State and Federal Court over the past 30 years. He has handled binding arbitrations and administrative hearings, many of them involving employment matters, and many involving public entities.  Goldberg has been asked to participate as a Mediator and has received awards for assisting the court in the Vast program as well as the ADR program(s), as well as Pro Bono services rendered to the community.  He has taken training by the Superior Court so that he could volunteer his services as a temporary judge.  

Goldberg and his partner, Brad Gage were on the Plaintiffs Steering Committee for the State of California in the Breast Implant Litigation which has settled thus far in excess of $2 billion. They represented many women in individual and group tort claims.

Goldberg has lectured to the Los Angeles County Bar Association, California Trial Lawyers Association,  Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association and to many other trial lawyers Associations over his career, and has served on the Board of Governors of same during different tenures. Goldberg is the former President of the West Hollywood Bar Association.  

Since becoming an attorney in 1973 he has been retained as trial counsel for various companies.  Goldberg has represented many prominent individuals including retired judge(s), other lawyers, doctors, politicians, City Managers (along with attorney C.
